almost stumped

i had 4 images of snowy london from the wee blizzard on feb 2. cropped them painstakingly on my slow photoshop-heavy computer. oops, they'd been taken at an emailable size, so they turned out too small to be blog headers. i went right back and increased pixel size for all 4, becuse they're all really pretty and make opheliac london like statements, almost. cropped again, croppity croppity croo. this time i did a round of touching up levels and contrast as well. and posted. one by one, each image came up looking pitifully blurred, smudgy shit. granted they were pictures of snow, but this just looked bad and plasticky, like a child's toy mobile phone. re-pixelisation just doesn't suit some.
i haven't given up though. am about to post the proof of my photographic genius on facebook.
