more on me, and melancholy

i had a lovely birthday party tonight. i'd invited almost everyone i know in London, and almost all of them showed up. many of them with long crazy commutes. the place was expensive, but i didn't end up paying anything for drinks. it used to be a library once, and the clever people who've bought up the building have cashed in on this fact by making the decor bookish and whiskeylicious. the prices, therefore, are crazy.

i saw some good friends tonight. being with good friends makes you less tired.
i aim to be less tired in future.

good night

yeah, but you can always expect the rest of your birthdays to be like that :).

the blog fell through the "opening shorty" hole and never climbed back.
