photography without photoshop

I just saw an online thread about photography with and without photoshop. The main point that stands out is that photos have probably always been post-processed, earlier in the dark room, and now on a computer. Apparently knowing how to take a good picture is only half the battle. You then need to know how to perfectly manipulate it to make a great image.
