ok, so i may have panicked too early re work layoffs. either that, or the higher ups are keeping their cards very close to their collective chest. annoying, if that is the case. in any case, have cheered myself up somewhat by being such an enthusiastic little bunny at work last week that i convinced myself that we would all pull through these bad times. have spent a gorgeous but freezing day convincing a friend in a similar predicament of it, while sampling various cheeses, breads and spreads in several east london markets. home now, and about to curl up with a book - another Isabel Dalhousie number at last! after which i have two more unread books in my bag. oh and an unfinished bit of smoked mozzarella. gross you might think, but.... such richness!
