i don't like ben's cookies anymore. inky told me to have one on her behalf, so i walked to the south ken outlet from home one cold brittle sunny saturday afternoon. having made all the effort i had to justify it by buying the buy 5 get 2 free box. now i cannot finish. 2 years ago, i would have finished the 5 by earl's court road and planned to save the 2 for supper, but then secretly et them by the time lillie road came along. (theses are only distance analogies, obv., as 2 years ago i hadn't heard of lillie road and earl's court was a foggy western outpost of zone 1).
